Easter Vacation-Day One
You'll never guess where I ended up this Easter vacation!! 7 hours and 1,141 miles away from home in Jacksonville, Ar. Now you might ask 'What the heck are you doing there?' The answer to your question...to visit my amazing cousin Monique, with my Nina, her mom, for the week. See my cousin is in the Air Force and has been stationed here with her husband for about 5 years. And I thought since I don't get to see her as often as i would like when she comes home, I'd come out here instead.
Let me be the first to tell you this trip had already had an amazing adventure!
Our trip started on Saturday (4-3) at 11pm, Cali time, at the Ontario Airport! Can you believe we actually flew out on the Red Eye fight!? I can't! I mean come on me awake since 10am getting on a plane at 11pm WITHOUT a nap!! I was shocked! Plus I didn't even pack till 8pm that night, meaning I have no idea what the heck I packed!!! LoL Anyway, we boarded our first plane (flight 1741) to Atlanta. It was a 3 and half hour flight. I must say it was acutely uncomfortable. I don't know how my Nina did it, she looked so peaceful! Me on the other hand, kept tossing and turning (with no where to go) every 5 mins trying to get comfortable. No luck! All in all it was an okay flight!
We finally landed in Atlanta where we had an hour and a half lay over. In this hour and a half we were able to get ourselves a cup of Seattle's Best Coffee, a little snack to hold us over oh and we managed to get ourselves lost! But...it wasn't our fault! See what had happened was out boarding passes said gate C-38 and the monitors that say what time flights depart and land said gate D-31; therefore we had to back track. But finally we were at the right gate and still had time to enjoy our very EXPENSIVE cups of joe and chit chat. Books, guys, family, my job...ect.
Time came to board the second plane (i don't member the flight#) which was a bit smaller than the first one and there was about ten people on the plane! The funniest part of this flight was the flight attendant was so rude. She had zero personality.
Finally in Little Rock waiting for Nique to pick us up. We got our bag and as we waited I kept talking...you'd think I would have been all talked out by then. I'm surprised my Nina didn't tell me to lock it up :p
Nique finally picked us up and we headed to the Dollar General to buy some toilet paper, and where I was a pair of shoes richer! :) Oh and I almost left my camera in the store! Yikes, my mom would have killed me if I had lost my camera! But I don't think I'll be using it much after I realized I left the memory card at home!! DUH SAM!! LoL :)
That's about it for our first day adventure!
Running to Wal-Mart for some Easter dinner! :)

Nina: If you don't like your job then why work as a flight attendant?
ME: Maybe she's sleeping with the Captain that's why is working here?
Nina: What if she's not!!
LoL we are too funny! That flight was only about 45mins.
