Easter Break-Day 5
4-8: Yesterday morning started like the past few days had, woke up at about 9:30 got ready to go out to lunch with Grant and Robin. Mo got out of work early so she came to pick us up at around 10:30. We met them at Chili's. After we were done with lunch the three of us took a trip to the mall. Mo: $160 Me: $20.20 Nina: $10.80 in that order and that was just one store! LoL I was able to buy a cute sun dress and shorts and a shirt. I was in the sale section with my Nina. Mo on the other hand was buying the whole store! :) As we were about to go to another store Mo got called into work. We got to see and meet some people she works with and of course a tour around the base. That was fun! We came home, changed and met up with some of Mo's friends for dinner at TGI FRiDAYS. Side note Nique did not have to work today; therefore, she drank...a lot...as did my Nina which means I was DD. I must say it was a great dinner! Her friends are hilarious! All of them except Grant and I were drinking. We ate outside, but by 9 we were way too cold so we went and sat at the bar. 9 is also when Trivia Thursday started and you better believe we played. It got more and more interesting as half of the team got more drunk!! The questions seemed to get harder as the game progressed. At the end of round 1 we were in 4th place and at the end of the game 8Some was 5th out of 8 teams.
I must say it was the drive home that really got me rolling on the floor laughing! It was one of the guys Mo works with birthday last night, which means he drank, but could not drive home; therefore, we had to drive him home. We drove all the way downtown to get to this kid's house. Grant was our other DD so i followed him because I don't know my way around. It ended up being that we left Mo's car with her friend so he could get to work today, and Grant drove us home. Leave it up to us to get lost in downtown with two drunk people in the back!! It is midnight at this point and finally we find our way to the freeway and find home. All is well we get to the front door and what do you know...we are locked out. Mo for...wait I forgot to make sure we had the key to the house before giving her car keys to Sherman. Ugh! so here we are standing in the garage with three dogs running around the neighborhood trying to figure out how to get in...not an easy task. With nothing, but luck, Mo was able to open the front door and we were in. By the time we were all in the house and in bed it was 12:30....AND THAT'S HOW WE ENDED THE NIGHT!
