Finally All Caught Up!!

Fast forward through all those posts and here we are, April 2012! I can't believe how fast time is going! Nothing too exciting has happened so far this year...but here is an update with everything that I am doing...

School:
I am happy to report that after this semester I will be done with Norco College and on to bigger and better things. Finally I will be transfer to one of the 3 places; CSU Northridge, CSU Eastbay(which is up north) or CSU San Bernardino. So far I have only received and acceptance letter from San Bernardino, but I am keeping my options open and waiting for responses from the other two universities. As far as getting my AA degree, I will receive 2, the first in General Education and the second in Communication, Media and Languages! I am pretty stoked about that, I mean let's face it I have been there long enough I should get something out of it! haha

Work:
I am still working in child development, but I am not longer at Newman. I am now at Rolling Ridge and these kids are just as awesome as my Newman kids! I really do miss my Newman kids, but I don't really think it matters where I am at, I just love working with kids! And I really LOVE my job! I mean seriously, I get to play with kids all day long how awesome is that!? Of course my job has its ups and down because I can't always just have fun sometimes I need to be the guy. I think it's funny because I am always coming home with a pretty funny or crazy story, but all in all playing kick ball sure beats anything else! :)

Church:
I am really excited about the journey I am on as far as my spiritual life. God sure does have his own plan for me and I am just alone for the ride. HE has placed me where HE needs me in the church. Right now I am currently teaching RCIC which is a 3 year program for children who are in the process of becoming Catholic. It is a really awesome to see the change in a child when you see them realize who Christ is for the first time. And you get to witness their love for HIM bloom right in front of you. The fact that I get to help make this happen for the 13 students we have is a blessing more then I can describe in words. When I am teaching on Sunday morning it really takes me back to when I was their age and I get to share that with them. I also get to share with them how amazing I think they are and how they inspire me! I would like to congratulate 2 of my students because this coming Saturday they are making the first three sacraments; Baptism, Holy Communion, and Conformation! I am so proud of them and who they are becoming! :)
I am also getting the opportunity to become a sponsor (Nina) to my third conformation student who also just happens to be my younger cousin Rhyan! I love you baby and I am so proud of you! I hope you continue to show your love for God! Remember I will always be here for you and will help guide you in anyway I can!! Beso! :)

Well my friends that's it for now until the next time!
