Saturday and Sunday
Saturday we met up with Andrew and the three of us took a walk through LA. We wanted to explore the city.
Grant already had some idea of what he wanted to see from watching 500 Days of Summer, which happened to be filmed in LA. I don't really know much about the city, so I didn't mind what we did.
We visited a fountain, the bench from the movie, a huge record store, the cathedral of our lady of the angels, had dinner at the famous Pink's, and ended the night with a drive through...somewhere. I kinda fell asleep. oops.
Grant and I got home about midnight and hung out for awhile.
Sunday was Ella's 1st birthday party. We woke up around ten got ready and took off to the park at around noon. We had a good time watching Ella Bella run around and eat her cake. Poor Grant had to meet the rest of the fam bam, but I was not about to make him memorize all those names.
I think Grant had an even better time with all the little girls. He was drawing and eating candy with them. It was cute!
After the party mom and I went to church while he took a nap. It was about 7 when we got home and Grant and I went to dinner at BJ's.
We had Buffalo Chicken Pizza and a Pizookie. We ended his last night in town watching Army Wives and Drop Dead Diva with my mom. Ha. Poor Grant.
We went to bed around midnight and I the next morning we would have to say goodbye.
