Wordy Wednesday

Hello friends and family! Happy Wednesday! I hope every one is having a great week so far! Well I have been here for a week now and I am having a great time!! :) This past week has been about nothing, but relaxing and enjoying my family time with Monique, my Nina, Grant and of course my Godson Nixon!! :) Here are some pictures of some of the things I have been doing!

Welcome to the world Nixon!! 6lbs, 13oz and 20in long! Born on July 28, 2013 at 9:52pm! I love you baby boy very much!! :) I am looking forward to watching you grow in this first month! :) 

 

My first Air Force function...ALS Graduation supporting one of Grant's co-workers! It was a great night!

 



Friday night was our first date night...we went out for hibachi and afterward went to a retro arcade. It was fun! I even kicked Grant's butt at a few video games! :)

 

Saturday he took me to one of the farmers market and to a place called The Root! It was very good!! :)

 



After The Root we went shopping in the mall because it was tax free weekend on AR!! With all the people at the mall you would have thought someone was giving something away for free!! My dear Grant spoiled me with two new blouses and even Nixon got spoiled too! :) We ended our Saturday with mass and a BBQ with my Nina and Monique....I forgot to take pictures! :/ But we had BBQ chicken, corn on the cob, rice and mac n cheese!! It was awesome!

 



Sunday he took me to another farmers market and to see Ghostbusters on the big screen! It was my first time seen it! It was a really good movie! 

 ...and tonight we were brave enough to attempt to make homemade rocky road/chocolate ice cream with Grant's ice cream maker...

 

...it turned out great! We enjoyed a bowl while watching Tangled! :)
