The Adventures of Black Friday

Okay friends who said black Friday was supposed to be fun!? Oh wait that was me! This was my first time doing black Friday shopping. I have to say it was kind of fun, in the beginning anyway. But as the night/morning progressed I started to feel the tiredness of the day and just wanted to sleep!

The three of us were very brave to do this, but it was great!

 We started the night waiting in line for Target at 7:15. While we were waiting in line my mom was telling us the game plan and she mentioned that the Brave DVDs were $10 at Target, but were $8.78 at Walmart. She was telling us that we needed 6 Braves, but if we find them at Walmart then we can bring them back to Target. You should have seen the look on my aunts face, she said, " Tonight?! We are going to buy and return all in the same night!?"

Priceless....We finally got into Target and spent an hour and half there before we moved on to the next store.

Our next stop was intended to be Walmart; however, when we got there the line was wrapped around the store and there was even a zig zag part in the line. It was like Disneyland on a summer day! Even the news had to get in on the action! Needless to say we did not get into Walmart.

Our next stop was ToysRUs it was a quick stop nothing to exciting in there. We went in there more to look and get some gift certificates than anything else.

We ended our night/morning at Kohls. They opened at midnight and we got there at 11:45 so we didn't have to wait long. There was nothing much going on in Kohls either....I was looking around for clothes and didn't seem to find any good deals. We were probably there for about an hour and a half....at this point I think the three of us were just so tired and wanted sleep.

 

We finally got home around 2am I was so tired I think I fell asleep before me head hit the pillow. Next thing I knew the alarm was going off! We probably had 5 hours of sleep.

 Putting all the gifts in my car...look Cocoa she is so cute!!

Overall I think we did a pretty good job and got most of our Christmas shopping done...or at least so I thought we spent the whole next day shopping still...we finally made it to Walmart...

Yep...this black Friday rookie couldn't take it anymore...into the shopping cart I went!! Haha

As for next year I am not sure I will do it again, then again if my mom has it her way I will tag a long every year from now on!
