Happy Mother's Day!



This year was a special Mother's Day! Why you may ask? Because I was able to spend it with my beautiful mom! We traveled to Laguna Beach for a play called Steel Magnolia, which just so happens to be one of our favorite movies. It is also the movie where I fell in love with the name M'lynn and hope to one day name my future daughter! Even though the play was held in a small playhouse, it was so good and very cute! After the play we went down and had dinner by the beach at The House of Big Fish and Ice Cold Beer...two of my moms favorite things! It was beautiful day at my moms favorite place! We had a great time relaxing, watching the sunset and people watching!

 

Mom,

You have no idea just how much you mean to me. You are my teacher, my rock, my strength, my best friend and so much more! There are times when only you can understand my tears, soothe my disappointments and clam my fears. There are times when only you can share the joy I feel when something I've worked for and dreamed about happens, like the day I found out I was accepted into university. There are times when only your faith in me can guide me on my journey through life and continue to inspire me and give me the confidence I need to make my dreams come true. To put it simply, it is called a mother's love and I thank God every day for giving me a woman like you to call my own! No one will ever love you the way I do! Thank you for all that you do for me! I love you so much mama! I hope you enjoyed your Mother's Day!

We spent the actual day with my grandma and Nina...it was an amazing day and it was wonderful to see my grandma in such good spirits!
