It's Been Awhile

It is that time again...update time!

Well first let me say Happy New Year and I am sorry it has taken me so long to update y'all in my many adventures!

School: When I left you last I was on my winter break excitedly awaiting my second semester at CSUN...now I am smack dab in the middle of this semester on my spring break. I am having a blast this semester!  Although everything has been going smooth, I can't believe the work load I have had this semester. My professors mean business and they know how to put us to work. I only have a few more weeks left of this semester so let's see how I do with my finals! I'll keep you posted!

Work: As of April 2 I have been at my job for 6 months! I can't believe how fast time flies! With each day that passes I love my job more and more...so much so that I have been given more responsibilities. My job is now much more demanding of me because not only do I have to continue my job as a teacher and Safety Captain, I now work 12 hour days! I'm basically making sure everything runs smoothly in the mornings until one of my bosses is there to relieve me.  Here is a basic run down of my day...I wake up at 5:15, at work by 6:30, off by 9, in class by 9:30, out of class at 12:15, back to work at 1:15 and leaving work by 6...not counting the time I go run after work and all the study/homework time I have to do before I go to sleep...now I know it sounds like a lot and it is, but I am really honored and blessed to receive an opportunity like this! It is a big job and it is going to takes a lot of effort, but I am excited to take on this new challenge! 

Church: A lot of things have happened in the last couple weeks to make my faith feel a little rocky, but what I have come to realize is that everything happens for a reason. I have to keep my faith in the LORD and know that HE has a path for me to follow and I have to trust in HIM...
