Well it's Official!

Boy does time fly, I can't believe summer is already over! I didn't realize it had been 4 months since my last post! So I suppose it's time to fill everyone in on what has been going on with me these past few months!

School: I finally graduated from Norco College!!  

And now I am an official CSUN undergraduate student!! I can wait to start classes tomorrow!

Since Northridge is about an hour and a half away from home, I had to move out to be closer to school. Thankfully, my Auntie Connie and Uncle Ken live about 10 minutes away from my school and they are graciously letting me live with them for the next 2 years! :) Although it was hard to say goodbye to my mom and dad, I know I will see them often! Some pictures of my home away from home...

 

Work: Unfortunately, the move also means I had to give up my job with CVUSD during the school year, which meant saying goodbye to the kids I have worked with for the last 3 years! :( it was so sad telling them I wouldn't be back this school year! I will miss them! However, I am going to be able to work during the holidays, so at least I will see them a few times this year! :) Here's to looking for a job out here during the year...I have a couple jobs in child care that I need to look into, so crossing my fingers and with lots of prayer I find something....soon!! HAHA

Church: As far as church goes I am no longer working with the kids because I won't be able to be at church every Sunday, but that doesn't mean I won't be going to church it just means I am going to have to find a church out here to attend! :)

I feel so incredibly blessed to have the love and support from my family and friends as I start this new journey to finally get my BA in Communication Studies! :) I can't wait to se what God has in store for me! Thank you everyone, especially my mom&dad and Nina&Nino!!  I love and appreciate you all so much!!
