The Love Poem ♥

Tuesday in my Psy 2 class we were talking about our emotions and how the brain reacts when we are in love. At the end of class my professor asked us to write a love poem to our person of interest. When professor Adams said this I immediately started writing saying, "this is a piece of cake, I write poems all the time," until he asked us to include 3 [or more] scientific words to describe our love. My mind went blank. Suddenly, I had writers block. Finally, with the help of my neighbor, I was able to write what I thought was a way-to-cheesy love poem. Come to find out Mr. Adams thought my poem was GREAT and read it to the class!! I have to say it sounded much better while he was reading it!! So I'd like to share with everyone just how I feel about Grant! :)

::When you are around my heart skips a beat,
this is when I know oxytocin is complete.

Dopamine fills my body whenever your scent consumes me.

My intense attraction for you makes me

weak in the knees.

His laugh is my reward,

my nucleus accumbens and ventral tegmental area

flurish and shine when he

smiles::
